Baby Beavers Calling to their Mama (Audio Clip): My morning paddle took me to the north end of Caesar Pond to audio tape bird calls at around 7am yesterday. As I was sitting quietly near a beaver lodge, I heard some muffled sounds that I’d never heard before…baby beavers! Drew amped up the sound so you can hear them because the beaver kit calls were quiet and in the background. The babies were inside the lodge and I was located about 15 feet away on the other side of an island. Enjoy! I am hoping to get some more beaver sounds and beaver photos soon, but I’ll need to get out on the pond earlier in the morning.
