Snowy Trail: I have been waiting for the day when I could finally walk on the pond, and this was it!  The layer of sleet we received last Wednesday gave us traction, and the additional snow we received today just added to the fun. There were only two other trails on the pond, besides mine. An ice fisherman was out briefly at the public put-in, and Drew had snowshoed across the pond this afternoon. It is such a special feeling to know that I am the first person to walk over to the north end of the pond this winter season. It is always an adventure, and I always see something of interest.
