White Pine Trees are in bloom: Pollen, pollen everywhere…There are lots of white pines lining Caesar Pond, and many of these trees are leaning over the water affording me a good look at the male pollen cones. They are in flower and their stamen are releasing lots of pollen that can make many of us very sneezy this time of year. I brushed up against some pollen cones and wafts of pollen were carried by the wind.  Here is a slide show that takes a close look at these pollen culprits.
