SCHOOL SNOW DAY # 1: 5:30 am - We have a mini-ice storm and received about 1/2” ice overnight. It is now 32F and raining. We are not planning on going outside at all today as it is treacherous. Although we have Yak Trax to put on our boots, Kasha just has rubber-soled booties that do not give her much traction. Oops…the power is flickering and we will probably lose power soon, as the local news indicated that many birch trees are coming down, and power is out in many locations around the state. Signing off…gotta take a few photos…gotta grade some papers…gotta take a nap…
