Indigo Bunting: Yippee…My first sighting (and photo) of an indigo bunting (Drew saw his first one last year). This guy paid us a brief visit at 6:25 am, and with the low light and a handheld camera I was only able to get a fuzzy photo (1/50th of a second, ISO 400.) It didn’t help that the bird feeder was spinning around, and around, and around like a merry-go-round. But, at least we have proof of this sighting. What an awesome, colorful weekend of firsts (Redstart, Male Evening Grosbeak, Indigo Bunting).
