Blizzard? Nope…Not for Us: The Washington, D.C. area got between 21-30 inches of snow, New York City received up to 10 inches of snow, and we are going to get a dusting here in MidCoast Maine. The storm is heading out to sea before it reaches us. Auggghhh….NOT FAIR!!!!!! We need more snow as what we have is too icy and unstable to enjoy. We are reduced to playing Frisbee with Kasha in the basement (much to her total enjoyment!) Today’s high temp. will be 25F with a 17mph wind, giving us a windchill of 11F. (Definition of Wind Chill: The temperature of windless air that would have the same effect on exposed human skin as a given combination of wind speed and air temperature.) Answers.com
