SNOW TOTAL THUS FAR: 102.25 inches

SNOW:
Yesterday afternoon, we got the tail end of the storm that hit New York City quite hard, and we received 3.25 inches of snow. We had a lovely, light snowfall all afternoon up until about 9pm. Drew said the snow felt like dried potato flakes underfoot while he and Kasha were out for their daily walk in the woods.

LOCAL BIRD ACTIVITY:
It has been a very quiet winter, bird-wise. We have had 1 brown creeper, 2 white-breasted nuthatches, 2 mourning doves, and 1 black-capped chickadee as regular visitors to the bird feeder over the last couple of months. We are hoping to see the return of the purple finches and goldfinches, along with more chickadees within the next few weeks.
