Orion’s Belt and Nebulae: The names of the stars in Orion’s Belt are labeled below each star, as is the Horsehead Nebula (one of the most identifiable nebulae in the night sky). But, the Orion Nebula (M42/M43) is definitely the most brilliant, and closest, nebula to Earth. You can see the fuzziness of the nebula which is composed of massive amounts of gas and dust in space. Nebulae are places of star formation. Unfortunately, the nebula was partially obstructed by a tree branch so there are a few black lines through the top of the gas cloud that shouldn’t be there;-)
