Late Afternoon on Caesar Pond: I jumped into the kayak as soon as I got home from work. It was a cloudy afternoon with a light breeze, and a bit on the chilly side. I actually had to wear two sweatshirts, a neck warmer, and a hat to stay warm as the temp. had dropped to 52F. My purpose for this pond paddle was to photograph the autumn colors. As you can see from the following photos, the leaf colors are becoming much richer than what we witnessed last week.
