LEAF COLOR UPDATE: The trees have reached peak color here in Bowdoin, Maine. Unfortunately, work has kept me busy from morning till night and I have not had the opportunity to photograph the colors. Tomorrow, we are bracing for a nor’easter to blow through. Hopefully, there will still be leaves on the trees for me to photograph this weekend. The colors are eye-poppingly brilliant.

COLUMBUS DAY WEEKEND FUN: A friend from Colorado visited with us over the weekend and we took her to some of our favorite haunts. We have not had time to sort through the photos, and plan to do so this weekend. We went apple picking, canoeing, hiking around a fort, and walking on the beach. We got some very nice nature photos.
