Harvest Moon: Last night, I had the opportunity to photograph the harvest moon as the sky was clearing after a thunderstorm.This is the full moon which is closest to the autumnal equinox which occurred on Sept. 23rd. Back in the mid-1800s, before the development of the electric light, farmers would be able to increase their harvest time by gathering crops by moonlight.
