Arctic Hibiscus Timelapse: Eight to ten hour opening of Arctic Hibiscus flowers compressed to mere seconds. We are particularly fascinated by the movement of the pistils and stamen as the flower opens. The pistils pop up into position and the stamen actually wave around. We are going to have to explore this in more detail as more of the blossoms open.
