Weather Update: At 6 am this morning, the temperature is 52F and climbing! The temp. should reach 58F by noon! Lovely…although, too bad I have to be inside all day. I will be at school until 9 pm for parent-teacher conferences. Ugh…I took my students outdoors yesterday, but cannot justify doing so today…
Spring Bulb Planting: I just planted about 100 spring bulbs today. It took me 2 hours as I had to dig a 25 foot trench in the lawn (between 3-6 inches deep) to put the bulbs in, mix in some nice garden soil, put down bulb fertilizer and the bulbs, and cover them all up. I don’t know about you…but, I’m exhausted!

Weather Update: We are due to get some snow showers from 3am - 8am, followed by rain tomorrow. The morning temp. should be around 31F with a high of 42F.
Update: I haven’t been able to get outside much at all due to bucket loads of school work with the end of the 1st quarter. But, I do hope to photograph the pond sometime this week. The scenery has changed dramatically with lots of light reddish brown colored leaves (oak) and yellow colored leaves (beech) left on the trees. There is a hint of starkness to the landscape beginning to take hold....
