Weather Update: Our low temp. this morning was 33F. It truly feels like autumn has settled in.
Birds: The birds are really chowing down on the suet and seed feeders as the temperature cools down. Our regulars are one blue jay, one pair each of red-breasted and white-breasted nuthatches, a few chickadees and tufted titmice, lots of goldfinches, a pair of downy woodpeckers, and a pair of hairy...
Weather: Today’s temperature reached a high of 51F, and we had a few rain showers under completely clouded skies. The colors are a bit muffled today.
Turkeys: We saw three groups of turkeys on the last leg of our ride home. I don’t think we’ve ever seen so many turkeys in a 10 minute period.
