Breaking Trail: I don’t know about you, but I am tired! We broke more trail while snowshoeing today. Whoo! We’ve got some deep snow out there! We could only do part of a trail, and will try to complete a loop tomorrow. Kasha almost disappears when she bounds off the trail in search of her Frisbee!
Snow Total Thus Far: 52.25 inches of snow.

Snow Total: This storm fizzled somewhat because we are close to the coast. At 7pm, we have 6.5 inches of snow. Now, we are supposed to get freezing rain for the next 5 hours before the storm ends. Bummer. We were really hoping for a good dump of snow. At least there is enough new snow to whiten things...
SNOW DAY # 3: We are on track to get around 14 inches of snow today (inland areas may get up to 24 inches.) Yippeee!!!! Light snow should begin falling around 8am, and the heaviest snowfall will be between 6-8pm. We are going to be snow throwing in the wee hours of the morning to clear the driveway so as to get to work on Thursday. Oh, how I would love to have Thursday off from work so we could do...

We have even more snow: We have 11 inches at 5pm!
We have snow! We are in range to get up to, or over, 8 inches of snow, before all is said and done. At 1:30 pm, we currently have 5.5 inches of new snow. I will make an official measurement on the front table when the snowfall stops.
Cold, Cold, Cold: It’s been a cold week with an arctic air mass moving into our area. Yesterday, we went for a walk on the pond from 3:34pm to 4:15pm. The temperature, at the start of our walk was 7F, and by the time the sun went behind the trees it was 5F. This morning, the low temp. was -13.5F in Bowdoin. The high temp. today was 10.5F. Brrrr…. By the way, the record cold...
